It integrates, from concept to retail, including innovative fabrics, materials, components, products and services for fashion. Innovative fibers and textiles, conductive inks, new printing and textile embroidery techniques, wearables, software, prototyping tools, and new smart retail solutions can all be found in the fashion industry at Avantex.

The idea of Avantex Paris is to transfer high-tech data on fabrics, textiles and fibers used in the clothing industry in order to produce intelligent, innovative and multifunctional textiles. Textiles must have at least three technical functions or a new patent. It is quite possible to improve breathable, waterproof, windproof, antistatic and quick-drying textiles, digital fabrics or garments with medical and cosmetic functions. To this end, the organizers invited high-ranking experts from the research departments, designers and producers to present their latest results and discover new markets. The framework program of the event includes a design seminar, a fashion show and a trends forum. Avantex is held twice a year at the Le Bourget expositions near Paris. The spacious exhibition center is located in the immediate vicinity of Le Bourget Airport. It is easily accessible with all public transport and via the A1 motorway.
